Essential operation

The site uses an essential, signed session cookie for editor access. It expires after eight hours. Waggle Hollow does not offer reader accounts or store contact-form submissions. The hosting provider may process IP addresses, browser details, and timestamps as needed to deliver and protect the site.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. Google Analytics may process visited pages, device and browser information, and an approximate location derived from an IP address. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or veterinary information. Advertising signals are disabled in our Analytics configuration. Select Privacy choices in the footer to disable or re-enable Analytics. That first-party preference lasts 180 days. Learn how Google uses information from partner sites.

Advertising

If Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, or process IP addresses and device identifiers to deliver and measure ads. Where consent is required, advertising code remains blocked until a certified consent platform reports the visitor's choice. Visitors can reopen the consent controls from the footer.

External links and affiliate measurement

Pinterest, Amazon, cited publications, and other linked websites have their own privacy practices. Pinterest links may include campaign parameters. Amazon links include our Associate tag so qualifying purchases can be attributed to Waggle Hollow.

Retention and contact

The editor session expires after eight hours and the Analytics preference after 180 days. Google Analytics and advertising data follow the retention controls configured in those Google services. Editorial content, integration settings, and operational backups are retained while needed to operate and recover the publication. Contact us to request a correction or ask a privacy question.
